Carnaval in Eugene

I've been in Eugene for two years and I've adapted to most of the things here. However, when the matter is Carnaval, I feel really homesick. I'm not saying there is no Carnaval here; we do have a great group called Samba Ja that makes people dance besides making Brazilians remember the Escolas de Samba. But I miss the hectic Carnaval days of Rio de Janeiro and the excitements of the Sapucai.
